The prophets foretold it, and on that first Christmas the angels declared it. In fact, Jesus affirmed it, telling the disciples: "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you." It's the promise of Christmas. There's only one problem; Jesus also said: “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword."
