What Are You Looking At?

We have an obsession - it's a perception obsession. As a people, we have become obsessed with images, optics, and looks. Wisdom is rarely celebrated; character is hardly noticed; it's all about looks. How I look. How you look. How "it" looks. Most of us know that "how it looks" is rarely "how it is," and yet we can't stop. It's destroying our daughters and enslaving our sons. It leads to poor choices, bad decisions, and lifelong regrets, but we just keep looking at appearances. But God, He looks at something else. Learning to look (at life, others, and ourselves) like God, this Sunday at Mendham Hills.
