Jonathan: A Friend Who Sticks Closer Than A Brother

Proverbs 18:24 says, “…there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”  This Sunday, we'll look at a story of friendship - the friendship of Jonathan & David. Jonathan was David’s best friend during the turbulent teen and young adult years prior to his ascension to the throne. He was an example of a loyal friend, a friend who sticks closer than a brother to his friend, David, even when he knew that it would cost him his own place on the throne and, eventually, even his life.
