Project Description

Series Overview

It seems like the whole world is waiting, looking for a sign. Some are looking for a sign that somehow we are not alone – that things are not just random, but have some meaning. Others are looking for a sign to show them what path to take or decision to make. Still others are looking for a sign from a loved one who was lost. That first Christmas, the angels declared, “and this shall be a sign unto you.” Perhaps this is what we have been looking for all along.

Have you ever just missed the sign? Maybe it was in a relationship and you missed the sign of a coming break-up. Perhaps it was at work and you missed the signal the boss was trying to send you about your job. I missed an exit sign on Route 80 in Pennsylvania once and I wound up driving for a very long time in the wrong direction. If Christmas is really one big sign, have we missed it? Is it possible we are all going the wrong way? Don’t miss this sign – this Sunday at Mendham Hills.

The whole world is looking for a sign, and Christmas is a big one. It wasn’t the only one, though. The prophets spoke of a sign, the angels spoke of a sign, and Jesus performed many a sign. Then, something happened…He stopped. Jesus put a stop to the sign business. People still wanted them, though. People are still looking for them, but Jesus said no more. Why? Are you still demanding yet another sign? Still looking? Come find the answers this Sunday at Mendham Hills.

You’re invited to an awe-inspiring, wonder-inducing evening, celebrating God’s gift unto you, this Christmas Eve at Mendham Hills Community Church.
