Aretha Franklin sang it better than I can say it: "R-E-S-P-E-C-T, find out what it means to me!" What does respect mean to you? For me, as a guy, well...as the song goes, it seems to be something I not only want, but something I need. This Sunday we find out what respect means to God. The Bible is actually quite specific in regards to whom we owe respect. The problem is that as a people, we - in general - hold those who are biblically entitled to respect in the most contempt. This week, a challenging call to respect those whom many of us have come to condemn. Find out what "it" means to God, this Sunday at MHCC.
