Houston, We Have A Problem

Last Sunday, we closed the service with the unforgettable "Earthrise" video from the Apollo 8 mission. Hopefully you felt the same awe the astronauts did as they read Genesis 1 to the whole world on that Christmas Eve night. They concluded their address, like God did, saying that it was all so very good. And it is...or at least it was. Truth is, though, it's oftentimes not all that great on our beautiful blue marble. We have serious problems down here. Enough to make you wonder, "If it was supposed to be so very good, why is it often so very bad?" Seeing the state of man and the problem of evil the way Jesus does, this Sunday at MHCC.
