Have You Been Drinking?

Anyone ever ask you that? It's usually a question put to someone who is acting...well, let's put it this way, less than sober minded. It's actually an accusation that was leveled against Jesus' first followers. I love Peter's response: he told his accusers that they could not be drunk because it was only nine o'clock in the morning. Apparently Peter didn't realize it was 5 o'clock somewhere. What could a bunch of "church" guys have done that made the whole crowd think they were loaded? Here's a better question: why doesn't anyone ask that about Jesus' church now? Understanding a better way to get "lit," this Sunday at Mendham Hills.
