The Power Of Paradox

November 5, 2023

Paradoxes. You know they exist. "The only constant is change." "The more you learn, the more you realize how little you know." Most of us seem hardwired to think about life in a certain way; these mental models help us not only to make sense of our world, but to manage our lives in it. Yet - more often than not - something comes along that shakes these foundational beliefs. That's the power of a paradox; it makes us rethink how our world works and how to live in it. The Bible is full of paradoxes, but perhaps none more commonly-cited than the paradox of generosity. What is it? Is it real? Can it be proven? Should I trust it? Discovering and believing in the power of The Generosity Paradox, this Sunday at Mendham Hills.
