Ask & You Shall Receive

Really? This feels like the most outlandish serious statement of Jesus we've looked at in this entire series. Let's face it; we, as human beings, are not struggling with what we want to ask for. We know what we want and we're asking for it - with mostly the best intentions. The real question in our minds is: "Why doesn't God answer my prayers?"  And the question that naturally follows that one is "How do I make sense of my experience with most of my prayers going unanswered? Looking for answers together, this Sunday at Mendham Hills.
