The Ache Of My Ego

At this point you'd have to live under a rock to be unaware of the detrimental effects of social media.  The "power of the like" has become the strongest force in our culture. Our desire to be "liked" is actually killing us. Yet, at its core this is not a modern problem but an ancient ache, one that sits at the very heart of Jesus' teaching, His life and His death. Why do I care so much about what you think of me? Is it actually possible to not care about what you think of me...or even what I think of me? Filling the ache of our ego, this Sunday at Mendham Hills.
